Project Manager at Dabbagh Welfare Trust
ThumbsUp Digital worked closely with our team from start to finish. They understood our requirements and what we are trying to achieve from modernisation of our website. They were able to bring together all our past work in a way that our donors can see what we have done with their donations. They also helped us find practical solutions to complex issues such as online donations, gift aid claims and project applications and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Throughout the project ThumbsUp Digital were quick to respond to our questions.
Dabbagh Welfare Trust is an international NGO operating across some of the poorest countries in the world. It was established by Ahmad Dabbagh, The teacher of Tareeqah Muhammadiyah in 2013, to help the neediest and most vulnerable people around the globe.
The Task
Dabbagh Welfare Trust needed a website to showcase their work and fundraise directly on their website rather than on third-party platforms like JustGiving. They also wanted us to manage their social media pages, run Google Ads and fundraise using Social Media Ads.
The Process
Working closely together with Dabbagh Welfare Trust’s team, we created a state-of-the-art, modern-looking website using WordPress. The site provides detailed information about their existing appeals and projects as well as showcase their previous charity work. With all the latest technology and functionalities this website is future-proof for years to come. It has everything a non-profit needs to fulfil its obligations to the donors and the relevant authorities.
